90/10 rule
This actually happened this past weekend when my friends wanted to come down to Sioux City and go the mall and hang out at my house and try some awesome places to eat in Sioux City. I called my mom and told her what has going to happen and i wanted everything to go perfect just like i planned. We made the trip down and we started off at the mall and we were there for a long time. We then decided to go to my house to say hi to my mom and dad and for them to meet my dogs. After that we decided to go eat and take the tour of the city. Like show them my high school and my field and everything like that. We took the tour then all of the sudden they got a call from someone and decided to go hang with them and it made me kind of sad that they wanted to go there and not stay in the city and everything like that. But it is all good because we will do this in the winter when we have a longer time to do some different things in the city.

understanding that things don't always go the way you planned them is something i struggle with. Its great to hear that you can be easygoing and understand that there can and probably will be a "next time"
ReplyDeleteSounded like a great time! I'm sure they had fun. Hopefully in the winter you guys can have even more fun.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good way to look at it, it will happen next time. Just be patient and there will be no reason for you to worry about little things that don't go according to plan. Being able to work around a schedule and flexible will help people be successful.
ReplyDeleteI understand that you would feel the way that you felt about this situation. But I'm glad you turned it around and looked at the bright side of it, saying that its okay because there's always a different time. way to choose your battles!
